Saalio® AX-Set – Iontophoresis against Excessive Sweating under the Armpits

About 50% of the people, who are affected by excessive sweating, are mostly sufferers of underarms hyperhidrosis. Reluctantly, they have to deal with sweaty armpits and perspiration with foul smell, and thus have to face the disapproval of others. This is a very common issue and hence, the Saalio AX (underarms) has been expressly designed to tackle this very specific problem. Built of fleece and small detachable silicone electrodes placed under the armpits, the Saalio AX uses moistened sponge pouches with tap water to create an electrical connection between the electrode and the skin.

For the treatment of underarms excessive sweating, it is especially important to have a comfortable and flexible material such as the soft and malleable silicone electrodes used in the Saalio AX device. Hence, it is easier to regulate the electrodes according to the body outline of the armpits. The Saalio AX therefore ensures an even and safe power distribution during the therapy. In addition, the renewable and durable high cotton content makes it a lasting product that can easily be washed up to 60° C and reused over time.

Moreover, the Saalio AX is a product that can always be enhanced by using additional electrode accessories and can also be used for other parts of the body.

Mode of Use

• Set up the device on a level and firm surface.

• Attach an electrode cable to every electrode and plug each into connectors.

• Put an electrode into every treatment tray.

• Cautiously cover up each electrode with a blue foam mat.

• Fill up both treatment trays with enough tap water.

• Clean underarm skin areas prior to treatment.

• Put the silicone electrode tightly and totally in the sponge pouch.

• Systematically soak the sponge pouches without squeezing.

• Put the moistened sponge pouches, with the connector cables under the armpits while pointing to the front and by applying slight pressure with the arms.

• Careful to re-soak the sponges during the treatment period.
